All of Emmie's friends know she is a HUGE Phillies
fan, so what a BLESSING it was today that she was
able to meet none other than Phillies pitcher and
2008 World Series MVP, COLE HAMELS!!!
Cole & his wife Heidi are incredibly generous people,
and it was an honor to meet them today!
Thank you to the Hamels Foundation for running a
pitching clinic that Emmie's brother Christian had the
blessing to participate in! This was a day we will
never forget!
Emmie was in a great deal of pain but still  managed to have a smile for her favorite Philles player!!!

Emmie had a recent stay in Children's Hospital with an infection ...
We ended up spending 3 months there,

through her birthday, Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Year ...
She endured several tests and was feeling pretty bad ...

Emmie made the decision to be baptized!

As Pastor Don laid her back into the water, she spread her arms out and just looked up. The perfect picture of TRUST. Emmie truly trusts in the Lord. He is, after all,  her Healer!
